A compulsion, an addiction. A source of confidence, and an outfit completer. They are our shoes. Some women go as far to say as they are a religion. A universal phenomenon of shoe addiction, all over the world women are spending as much as fifteen dollars to three thousand dollars or more on a single pair of shoes. A quick fix, a self-esteem lift, our shoes are always there for us. When the shirt does't fit anymore, and the pant button pops, and you aren't bikini ready mid-July, you can always rely on your shoes to be a good fit. We as women can always count on our shoes to lift our spirits and look fabulous as they always have through each wear. And we all have that pair of heels we never plan on actually wearing, but they just called our names from the store window and we so pretty we had to answer. So they sit in our shoe closet, and every time we look at them they make us feel as pretty as they look. From Christian Loubotin to Vans, shoes are becoming more and more of an outfit completer, rather than something we just slip on. Now, I am going to go put on my Bullhead jeans, my Roxy sweater, with my International Concepts (INC) brown leather tall boots to go out and get a cup of coffee. Happy St. Patricks day everyone!
XOXO, HNW
